It was a gopd hotel for being so close to all the tourist places. Breakfast was amazing each morning. Rooms and halls were a bit run down and in need of some repair. The carpet was buckled and there were wet spots in our room by the window. I think water was leaking in. I was impressed that we didn't hear alot of road noises.

Well Located with Friendly Staff

The hotel is very well located and the team that welcomed us was friendly and helpful. The elevator was quite noisy, but the breakfast was good and the rooms were comfortable. There was a slight smell in the room — maybe of dampness or something old — hard to explain, but it did bother me a bit. That said, it wasn’t strong enough to make me complain or want to stay elsewhere. I would still recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Convenient to subway and Amtrak. Breakfast offered a good assortment. Bathroom was nice, bedroom cabinets show some wear. Beds were acceptable. Air was cooling but didn’t dehumidify. Carpet in bedrooms in NYC is a bad idea - I insisted everyone remove shoes immediately!
