Berlin Best Western
This was the nicest hotel we stayed at so far. The front desk person was amazing and the hotel was spotless. Each room has a mural with a different destination. What a great surprise

Long weekend for Weihnachtsmarkt in Berlin.
When visiting Berlin on a regular basis we always stay in The Hollywood Media Hotel on the Kurfurstendamm. On this occasion there were no vacancies so after a quick search around the Best Western Plus Plaza was a very good replacement as it is almost next door and the location is simply fabulous. The room was comfortable and clean, if a little quirky with the sink and washing area outside the bath/shower room. The reception is on the 1st floor which is accessed via a two way escalator (up and down, cool). The lifts are also a design feature with an automatic folding closing gate. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was fantastic and served from 7am to 11am. Nothing wrong with this hotel and the location close to the Zoo/Blue Church/Europa Centre is ideal. The Kurfurstendamm is lined with High End Designer shops such as Rolex, Prada, D&G and DKNY.

There were many options for breakfast and the location of the hotel was good. The rooms were also spacious and clean. But we were accused of throwing up on the hallway floor when we didn't. Apparently that was the reason we didn't get drink vouchers or help opening a bottle of wine.
