Terrible experience avoid this hotel
Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel Our stay at this hotel was the worst travel experience we’ve ever had. The front desk staff was extremely rude, yelling at guests and interrogating us every time we left the building. They demanded we leave our key with them but refused responsibility for any belongings in the room, making us feel unsafe. The room was far smaller than advertised, smelled strongly of garlic or onions, and had a leak on the floor (photos posted). We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we had to check out early. When we explained our decision to leave, the front desk staff shouted at us aggressively. The unprofessionalism, poor accommodations, and hostile atmosphere ruined our stay. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

We stayed in Hotel Romano for our family’s first trip to Rome. It meets our expectations in terms of location, clearness, family suite and friendly staff. We were welcomed by Eddy who was super nice and knowledgeable. He shared many useful tips about dining options and transportation. On the departure day, the hotel staff helped us to book a taxi for going to Roma Termini, which was very convenient. Definitely will come back again.

Everything about this place was so beautiful. The owner and his daughter are lovely. They are very helpful. Everything was so clean. They’ll offer you directions and suggestions of where to go eat where to go shop where to go sightsee. It is right down the block from the Colosseum. The next time we come to Rome, we will definitely be staying at the same place. This beautiful family run hotel is a must stay in Rome.
