Very friendly and obliging staff. I arrived early and the staff did their best to check me in as fast as possible. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Location was excellent and close to the night market and a shopping mall. Room was very quiet. Excellent value for money! Only downside was poor internet.

Hotel in heart of Night Bazaar entertainment
If you don't have a car (no parking) and don't mind walking a few flights up (no elevator), this small hotel is a great value. It's not fancy, but the rooms are very well maintained and clean. The TV and AC look new. The bed is very comfortable by Thai standards and the bathroom is newly tiled. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is nice. The old polished original wood flooring throughout is gorgeous.

Great bargain for a great location!
Sasima House is located very near to the night market, which takes place every evening. Very convenient walk. Staff was extremely friendly and the room was large and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable as well, not too firm or too soft. Would definitely stay here again.

Not good value for money
No lift, not good if you have heavy luggage. Service was not great, breakfast was even worse. No coffee and tea for breakfast on my last day and staff on duty didn't understand English. However, location is close to night market. I won't stay there again though.

Loud but clean
This hotel was convenient in that it was close to the night market, but it is right on a busy road. We heard motor scooters and cars all night- and even headlights through the window curtain. That being said, all else was pretty good. We felt safe, it was clean, the staff was friendly and breakfast in the morning was good. We also had them do some of our laundry for about $8. Oh- and the beds are hard as rocks. So that might be important if you are a comfy bed person.

Humble front entrance but interior is nicely furnished with high quality flooring and stairways. Not best for seniors who may not be able to climb some stairs. Staff are super friendly and pricing was very cheap. No noise during the evenings!

Good $20 hotel.
The good..great staff, clean room, low price, decent breakfast. The bad...the hotel is vertical, room #1 is on the first floor,room#2 is on the second floor etc. on up to room #7,the stairs are steep and narrow with no elevator so if you have bad knees and heavy bags,beware....

Has mosquito issues, but great staff!
This is a budget hotel in the style of many guest houses in Southeast Asia. The staff were very welcoming and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable. The biggest issue with this hotel is that it is too easy for mosquitoes to get inside. The door is almost always open and each room has a window out the bathroom without any screen protecting the residents from things that can fly inside. I probably killed an average of 4-5 mosquitoes a day inside my room and lived in fear of getting bitten each night. The staff try to help with air spray and incense, but a more effective measure would be to just add screens for all the doors and windows. Otherwise, the stay was great for the price - beds and blankets were comfortable enough and there was air conditioning.

Wonderful hotel, will stay again!
The room was big, cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Good location - can walk to Tapae gate, Saturday market, Sunday market, etc. Very close to Night bazaar. Good breakfast although it was simple :-) The staff was warm and nice. They are very helpful - booked our tour, called a taxi, etc. You have to take off shoes at the bottom of the stairs and walk up to your room. If you are not physically in good shape or have heavy suitcases, you may want to request a room on the lower floors. This hotel definitely has a charm and we loved it.
