Gentleman at Front Desk: Worth His Weight in Gold
The gentleman at the front desk was delightful, helpful, and a joy to be greeted by at the end of a long journey of traveling and day with my kids at Dartmouth. The room was cozy and warm and the bed comfy. The town of White River Junction was quaint and quiet with lovely restaurants. Who knew I'd get a voucher for breakfast at the lovely cafes on the block?! :) I will definitely be back.

The front desk staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. This place is just so old and outdated whenever anyone in the entire building walked I could hear it so I was up all night. Old and creaky.

Wont get restful sleep if light sleeper
Staff was stellar. Just very warm and helpful. The issue is with our room. Due to old heating, every hours it sounded like a consteuction crew was renovating right under us. Im heavy sleeper and woke twice. My wife who is light sleeper disnt sleep at all.

Vintage, stylish but little bit uncomfortable
Great location! great service! Room is clean and nice. We really had a good time there. The facility might be a little bit old but it is perfect ofr vintage style lovers. Downside: it is close to rail road. And tain will horning in 2am, 4am... There is no thick curtain in the room so if you are restrict to sleeping env.

Old World charm!
What was billed as "Old World charm" in the description on Trip Advisor, was really just a very run down hotel. Whether it was the ripped chair, the shower with very little water pressure, the crooked floor requiring blocks under the dresser so it wouldn't tip over on me, the clanging radiators in the middle of the night (without any heat) or the poor wifi service (I tried both routers), I would never come back. The only reason I didn't give one star was that at least the room was relatively clean (I tipped the cleaning staff).
