Hotel conveniently located close to central station, staff less check in, a couple of restaurants and cafés are located in the same building. There’s also an umbrella renting machine for 39 NOK in case you get a rainy day in Oslo. Common areas were a little messy and untidy, room was ok with small bathroom. Convenient for one or a couple of nights.

Barebones room: a bed, a table, a chair, a mirror and a couple of hangers on a bar. That's it. No shelves, no box of paper tissues, no teakettle, no coffee machine, no TV. No effort in decoration to compensate for the lack of amenities. All this at luxury prices.

All was great .. our room had an issue with the window not opening (there is no air conditioning ) so I requested to be moved, however they gave us a tough time because the hotel was fully booked. However after all the complaining and contacting management we were finally moved . I will stay here again. Near Tran station and shops.

My room was perfect. I have come to CityBox a few times before and have always enjoyed it except for the time I was given room 613 I believe it was, which was way too small. So small I could only stand in about half the room. That room should be turned back to the broom closet it once was!

It is a basic clean hotel. The concept is efficiently operated. 24/7 in house staff to address the needs. The location to Oslo s is only a mere 3min walk. Citybox oslo is kind enough to change my room facing noisy trams line. Subsequently, my room was facing void courtyard where i could hear chinese couple quarrel.at 4am, loud hp music, talkg till late at night from nearby windows and also my opp room. Depending on your luck, it could be pleasant. Pantry is available at ground floor.

Had been at Oslo and Bergen CityBox before and loved it. This time, my room was so small I could only actually stand up in half the room, room 613, right under the room by the eaves. Sadly, I am not kidding. Getting in the shower was not easy either. I understand the "box" concept and love it, but room 613 should NOT be a room but a broom closet!

The hotel is situated in a prime area of Oslo, which initially gave us high expectations. However, our experience was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, we were met with a rude and unwelcoming receptionist, which set a negative tone for our stay. The cleanliness of the room was below standard—no daily cleaning was provided, which was quite surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Most concerning was the condition of the washroom in Room 411. The toilet commode was broken, and despite our request to change the room, we were simply told “sorry” with no further action taken. Customer service and maintenance need serious improvement. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience.
