Our stay was a group of adults looking for an active long weekend in the Dunsborough and Margaret River area. The accommodation was ideal for that purpose with ample space, well equipped and relevant facilities. Margaret at the office was especially accommodating at all times.
Two items of advice for first time visitors would be:
1. Check in advance which of the 24 cottages you are likely to be allocated either by calling in advance/verifying against their direct site as layouts vary as each cottage is owned/furnished independently apparently. Various combinations of beds exist. Whilst most sleep six comfortably, with 2 beds in the loft, ours for example, Cottage 23, was one double and four single beds - manageable but not ideal for us. But for a family this might be preferable.
2. Similar comments about bathrooms and showers exist as we were expecting one en-suite and an additional bathroom/shower/toilet. In fact there was one shared bathroom and one additional shower and one additional toilet. Manageable again but not ideal for us, whereas for a family this might have been more suitable. Again it is suggested you check in advance.
A bonus was the provision of a Nespresso machine. A great touch.
Overall this was wonderful value in an excellent location. Well managed, clean and courteous management.
