24 hr stay at the IBIS-mexico
The stay was quite good. The reception staff a bit harsh. The lady, in the blue uniform, seems to have difficulty in smiling. The gentleman with the sport grey-brown sweater needs a new uniform.

Good location only
Location is great because everything is close by. Room is a good size, but unfortunately, the bed is not comfortable at all. It's basically the mattress box and an extremely thin, firm (hard), not cushioned at all mattress. No where near comfortable. Staff was not very customer service oriented either.

Great and safe place to stay
Great location with bus and metro station nearby. Roughly 20 mins ride to the airport. Feel safe around the area at late night. Clean room.

WORST IBIS HOTEL
Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to the park, churches, museums and restaurants. Breakfast food was filling and healthy although there was not much variety. However, our experience in this hotel was not good because of the following: 1. Defective aircon in our room on our first night, although we were given another room late at night after several attempts to fix the air con 2. No WiFi for 2-3 days 3. Elevator was slow and usually one out of 2 elevators was not working In summary, this was the worst IBIS hotel I have ever stayed in. I have stayed in IBIS hotels in Madrid, London, Dubai and New Zealand and I was very much satisfied with these hotels.

Great location, cute little boutique hotel in the nicest part of town. Very clean, and they were wonderful for our dogs, have a little outdoor area in the back with grass.

Great Location
This is a budget hotel - small but adequate room with good beds, but old, stained bed linens. In the bathroom there were no amenities, only 2 large bath towels and a bath mat that we assumed were clean, despite their greyish colour. The shower door was not water-tight and it leaked onto the floor. The best thing was the large picture window providing a great view to the east; we enjoyed watching the sunrise and the smoke rising from Popocatepetl volcano. This hotel takes guests' security very seriously, with a guard at the door and no access to other floors except one's own. The location is very good, just minutes from the Alameda and the Centro Historico.

Great place to stay
I like the format of Ibis. Simple, but quiet and complete. Good Internet service. Reasonable breakfast buffet. Good location, just two blocks from Alameda Park. Easy, fun walk to the Zocolo. Not much English at the front desk, but an overall great stay. We would stay there again. The rooms, which there are 144 in this hotel, remind us of cruise ship staterooms. Noting fancy, but clean and convenient.
