2/10 Poor

Turned away after midnight.
When I arrived just after midnight the hotel manager did wake up just to tell me that he gave my room to someone else. I was traveling very heavy with a mechanical issues. I had to ride down motel strip trying to find a vacancy. This member should be banned from Expedia because they do not honor online booking. I had to pay more money than my budget allowed to avoid sleeping outside with the drug runners in the neighborhood. It was like trying to understand a Clingon to perceive that I actually had no room upon arrival. This could actually be dangerous for travelers less than combative ready on the streets of El Cajon late night.

10/10 Exceptional

Clean, comfortable experience.
The son spoke excellent English and made sure things were good in the room and bathrooms were clean. It was quiet and I was able to get a full nights rest. Close walking to restaurants and attractions.
