Great guesthouse in Akureyri centre
The guesthouse is conveniently located in the centre of Akureyri. Chech-in was self-service, it was smooth and effortless. The room is a bit small, but it is fine and spotlessly clean. Bathroom is also well-equipped. There is a communal kitchen as well, which is very handy. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to stay in.

Fekk ekkk uppfærslu á þvi að lykilorði á hurðinni hefði verið breytt, hefðu mátt senda tölvupost varðandi það. Tekk inn eftir kl 17 er lika mínus.

Good clean room with basic essentials. Great location but parking can be a pain if your in town during the day

It is a very ordinary place with no help in the premises. Not worth the money. Far below my expectation.

Easy, clean, great location
The location is excellent and easy. There is free parking right outside of the hotel and tons of cafes and small shops within a minute’s walk. Although there is no front desk, the check in could not have been easier. Great hotel, perfect for a long or short stay, with clean rooms and excellent location.

Good 6.0
the rooms were suitable for the night and the price was right. If you're looking for luxury I wouldn't be staying here but the place looked brand new inside And very clean. Kitchen to cook in. My only complaint would have been the one tiny bathroom on each floor for all the rooms to share. Which the people in one of the other rooms decided to spend hours in. I think that had more to do with the people staying here too than the hotel. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. And the price didn't hurt either.

2 Nights in Akureyri - Great Spot!
This was the perfect spot. Berlin Cafe on bottom level, wonderful smell of bacon wafting upstairs. Excellent food. Our room had a small balcony, looking into courtyard behind buildings, but also a view of the mountains near the harbor. Room was very small, but clean, w/big window. Shared kitchen on top floor w/tea kettle & coffee pot, and supplies. Great pub just a few doors down, lots of good brews and both tourists & locals filled the place with cheery conversation. Not a single TV on the pub walls... loved that! Blocks from the harbor where we picked up a whale watching tour. Fantastic experience. Down side to the guesthouse, 5 rooms to 1 bathroom was pushing it. Full house that 1st night, so competed with up to 10 guests in morning. All other floors were occupied in the first couple hours of the morning as well. In-room sink helped. Our floor (3) shower good size, but commode alcove was super narrow even for small person. Self-serve method of getting your key would have worked out, except they emailed us the wrong room number. But after a quick phone call, it got sorted. Very nice woman on the phone. Overall experience was good, would stay there again. Only recommendation would be better ratio between rooms & bathrooms.
