The big advantage of this lodging is its location, just a few steps from Mazatlan´s most colorful public square, and a few blocks from an expansive view of the Pacific. Even for one person, the room was cramped The bed was fine, but I bruised myself maneuvering around the cheap and awkward furnishings. The bathroom sink wouldn´t drain, giving rise to a torpid pool, and the water in the shower was barely lukewarm. In-room coffee amounted to only one weak cup. Despite the good location, I´m sure one can do much better at this price.

It's walking distance to restaurants and the historic downtown. The room was a bit Spartan. No safe in the room or available at the front desk. I had to call the front desk because the WiFi was down every morning. After 2 days I figured there was no hot water because the hot and cold vales in the shower were reversed. The staff was nice and resolved the problems after a call.

This was a good place to stay in central Mazatlan. The view from the window was of an interior wall. Construction/renovation was underway, but noise was only during the day.

The hotel was very modern and clean and located in a great part of the city! The staff were always attentive and helpful. I did not dine at the restaurant so I have no input on that particular part.

Well....where to start! The room I was given was right above the adjacent bar (accessed from the hotel) so at 10:00pm a band started playing and it was deafening in my room! I went down to complain but they didn't understand. So the next day I complained and was moved. The room was basic. No coffee\tea making facilities. None of the rooms had a fridge. The "TV" was the size of a computer monitor..about 24". The staff however were faultless, and always helpful. It is centrally located but I would never stay there again!

Clean rooms and friendly housekeeping staff. Biggest complaint we have is they scheduled a free lunch and massages for us the 1st day of our trip. I asked if this was for a time share meeting, the girl said "No". A taxi picked us up and took us to another hotel. They gave us some crappy food and then proceeded to try to sell us on a $30,000 usd time share. When I told them No. We were left stranded 7 miles from our hotel and had to pay for a taxi back. Never received a free massage either. Liars

Lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.
We stayed for a 6 days and had a ton of fun. Lots to do and see. Night time is were the real action is. People are out in the morning, it dies down in the afternoon and things really start happening at and after sunset. We found all kinds of free entertainment just walking around Centro Historico.

Awesome hotel in the historic center
I have no complaints. It was an awesome experience. The hotel felt very brand new, which was remodeled from a classic building. The window were almost sound proof. I slept right through the night despite outside noise. It was walking distance to all the night live if you are into that. During the day, it's walking distance to the flea market. It's in the middle of the best part of the historic part of Mazatlan. I can totally see this area becoming more popular in the near future because the city is still trying to really bring back to life this party of the city.

A Good Place to Stay and Good Value
Location is the best thing about this hotel. Close to Mercado, PlazaMachado, Olas Altas, many good restaurants and bars. Taxis and buses nearby. Check in is on the main floor adjacent to their bar-restaurant named "Papagayo". To get to your room you need to walk up two or three flights of stairs. The hotel was recently remodeled and they are still working on some areas such as floors, steps and patio, but not a hindrance to our stay. All the rooms are apparently the same size with two double beds. The room size pretty small and just one wooden chair. Bed and pillows just ok. Our room was facing a fairly busy street so traffic noise at night until about midnight-one o'clock. The bathroom was nice and had a great roomy shower. This hotel is affiliated with The Inn at Mazatlan. They have a free shuttle going back and forth. Enjoyed their 24 hour happy hour and their restaurant was very popular with upscale locals enjoying breakfast. Right across the street from the famous Athina Spa. No coffee pot in the room, but available in downstairs restaurant and coffee shops very near by. No refrig or safe in the room.

Good and bad
A very nice, moderately priced, clean, great staff, good location but... The hotel is still undergoing renovations and though it is kept clean and you don't see or feel encumbered by the work you do hear them and from time to time if they are using equipment it can be loud.A second and more enduring problem is that the owners forgot to include sound insulation from the street noises which on weekends is very disturbing.the lack of insulated Windows is not a problem which will go away after renovations. They did many things right but this will be a long term problem as Mazatlan is a party town and noise till 3 in the morning and cleanup crews starting at 7 does not make for a great hotel stay as a good sleep is what hotels are for. But the staff and excellent restaurant do make it appealing. All in all I recommend it but be forewarned .

Over rated
Smell of the room is horrible, we were place in a room where you can here street cars and music. You would think beucuae it’s a hotel they would have better sound prof windows. The bathroom feels like your in a public gas station bathroom. You have to wait for the hot water for about 7 min. We decided to eat at the restaurant the serive was horrible, the serves watching YouTube videos on the bar instead of serving customers. Our food took so long until I ask the server what’s was going on than they brought it out, funny how there was only two tables and it took so long. Willl never stay here again.
