Fantastic guest house in a beautiful town.
We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK.

Central to Town
Located in the centre of town, Jan was very welcoming, where the bed was beautiful & very comfortable. The room was warm, but the toilet has no heating. What let the room down was the shower, which had a lot of mould, the shower head wouldn’t stay up, the mould in the shower head didn’t allow proper water flow, and we just couldn’t get a good temperature. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit, yogurts, and a cooked breakfast. No sausage, but definitely filling, with an excellent ground coffee machine available all day. You could do worse than stay here, but sadly, I have stayed in much better for the price.

The warmest welcome of our trip!! We would return. It needs a little updating, but who needs everything pristine and cookie cutter perfect? That’s why you choose a B and B, for the uniqueness.

Wish we could have stayed longer.
Spent 2 nights here in this delightful guesthouse right in the centre of Callander, convenient for its many small independent shops and cafe's. And also as a good base for exploring the surrounding area. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast.

Lovely stay in Callendar.
It was such a good central, quiet location & easy to park nearby. As Callendar is a small place it was easy to walk everywhere. It's also a great location for exploring the Trossachs & surrounding countryside. Breakfasts were very good and we were lucky to get a downstairs room - especially as we are in the 75+ range and stairs were quite narrow. We thought it was excellent value for money.

The Highland Guest House
Everything was OK seeing as it had changed hands less than a week before we got there, We had asked for a double room but we were given 2 singles pushed together with single duvets on them, as we wanted a "full" breakfast we had to go round the corner to another hotel as the kitchen was serving a continental type buffet

Sweet little bnb
Great little bnb just off the main street through Callender. Convenient for all the local shops bars and restaurants. Had a very nice full English breakfast and was treated to some bagpipes trumpet and oboe? To wake me up. The owners were very helpful with letting me change rooms as I couldn't manage the stairs to the third floor so put me in a room on the second. They did have a room on the first floor but someone else got to that one before me. I would definitely stay again.
