This was a great place but the stay was let down by poor management. Hence the rating. I'm sure without problems your stay will be very enjoyable. The loft room was very stylish and was a great design, although they should put mesh on the windows to prevent mosquitos entering (shower open design so water splashes all over the floor yet no means of mopping up the water or draining it?!). There's no aircon in the main room, just the 2 bedrooms. The pool (a splash pool) is actually in the grounds of the next door property.... You kind of feel like a gatecrasher going there. We booked for 3 nights, but upon arrival we were informed that it was double booked and we could only stay for 2 nights. Nonetheless we were offered an acceptable refund and had that been the end of the matter, fine. To then be told to park on the street (when one of the principle reasons for booking the place was private parking) "because the car park was full" was annoying. For me to then solve the problem by finding out a next door hairdresser was occupying a parking spot and insisting that the management then required her to move her car (which they were unwilling /reluctant to do) so I could park there was just mind-boggling. To then have to fight for written evidence of the refund 2 days later was the last straw - the refund via Travelocity had not been effected as agreed. I only established this after 40 minutes of insisting on some (visible) evidenceof it which the finance lady refused to provide.

We absolutely loved it and will be back. I’m hesitant to rave about it too much because I want to keep it all to myself, lol! The windows on both walls in the main room both slide completely open so you get an amazing breeze and we had an amazing ocean view from suite 1. The balcony wrapped around two sides of our suite and there was even a clothes rack tucked away to one side. We were fortunate in that we had a designated parking stall on the main floor of our building that was secure in a gated area available only with door remote or key but parking is tight so best if you have a small vehicle. Parking is also available on the street. The apartment has a stove top and comes with pots, pans, plates and utensils so we were able to cook. There is a small, free, city beach not far away. It’s located towards Willemstad across from the old cinema. It can be hard to see from the street because it’s tucked behind a parking lot. The Pietermaai district is amazing with small restaurants and bars scattered throughout. It’s very safe and we often walked through the area at night. We had access to the square pool, which did the trick between our visits to the ocean. The staff are super friendly too. Can’t wait to come back!

Cool place in a great location
Cool place in a great location. Towels, beach towels, bed linen, kitchen utensils ... all very good. The location is perfect. Staff very friendly and attentive (although internal communication was not very good) Weaknesses: - cleaning could be better - it should have air conditioning in the living room, and not only in the bedrooms (if the bedroom doors were open, it would refresh the living room after a while) - should have curtains in the mezzanine bedroom. Everyone woke up at sunrise

super tolle unterkunft, sehr sauber, für alles bestens gesorgt, freundliche begegnungen bei allen fragen etc. super zufrieden gewesen & wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt toll wäre noch ein ventilator im wohnbereich & ein wäscheständer... sonst wars perfekt was etwas lästig war: dass der private parkplatz mehrmals in der einfahrt zugeparkt wurde, sodass man erst rausfinden musste wem das auto gehört - hat aber nichts direkt mit der unterkunft zu tun - diese warwie gesagt einfach top :)
