The Location of the property was very good, the property was really clean and modern. Being a central location, you also get the hustle and bustle of a city centre location. The locals stayed up late at night eating and chatting in the streets close by.

Lovely room and friendly staff, but we had a hard time locating the place by taxi and then reaching the staff without wifi or SIM card. Room was great though and had awesome amenities. I wouldn't say the area is family friendly and customer service was poor due to inability of staff to speak English. I probably should have dialed the reception for English-speaking staff instead of going down to the lobby/ bar.

Perfect Location
Fantastic staff made us feel right at home. Arrived from an overnight train at 8am and were greeted with an early check-in that was very helpful. Amazing location; right in the heart of Bairro Alto however that meant that one night, there was a drunken fight outside our building until 5am. Only one weekend night so rest of the time was peaceful and me perfect. Overall, an incredible spot to explore Lisbon from.

Be warned - it's VERY noisy!
This apartment is basically very expensive for location. The photos on the website make it look amazing and huge (we had first floor room) but in reality is quite small. The worst thing is that you have no door to the toilet, so when one of you gets food poisoning it is quite unpleasant for the other person staying in the room with you! The location is great, vibrant and bohemian. However be warned if you are there at the weekend be prepared to be kept awake until about 6 in the morning! The area is full of late night bars and clubs, the double glazing is good, but is not worth the amount of money you pay for the room.

Think Twice
we were in room #1 (avoid at all cost!!) which is directly above the bar (we were not given a choice), where sound penetrated into our room into the wee hours - sleep was not possible. Also - the gentleman who checked us in spoke no English, so communication was limited (we had agreed via email ahead of time to book a taxi to the airport for the following morning - not possible in this circumstance - Uber was fine, however).

Great little apartment in amazing location!
Very nice apartment in Bairro Alto and great location. We were able to walk into town within a few minutes, which was very convenient. The check in process was easy as we received the codes for the main door downstairs and our room. A bonus feature in the room was the Nespresso machine! 😉 Would definitely stay here again.
