We had a good stay - the hotel is extremely well located if you are looking for a stunning location, amongst the vineyards and classic hills of Piemonte wine region. It is on top of a hill with a great outlook. I would say that the garden and terrace of the hotel are lovely, the rooms are spotless and have all the amenities, though could do with an update in terms of style. We had a suite (not through choice, rest was sold out) and would have been happy with one of the standard rooms which were well priced. The suite was very spacious and had all the facilities it said it had, but was a bit random in terms of the living area being a massive room with a sofa and table. There wasn't a proper shower (handheld in bath) which was very surprising (was probably described as such, but didn't pay attention as would never imagine a suite without a walk in shower in 2020 to be honest - you couldn't even stand up straight in the bath with the handheld as it was under a sloping roof). Staff very helpful, and there is a wonderful bistro/hosteria at the bottom of the hill, 20 mins walk. So in summary, nice place, great view and location, tranquil, nice staff, but could be amazing if the decor was updated to next level.
