A slice of paradise in quiet perfect location
I had the most wonderful stay at Boho Bingin Beach - I read some bad reviews prior so I wasn't sure how it would go, but the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Sure the pool deck may be a little weathered, but it is truly a slice of paradise. The staff are so lovely and welcoming, the pool and communal areas are so nice and lovely to hang around for a lazy day, and it is such a nice quiet pocket of Bingin. Couldn't recommend it more!!

The hotel has nice decor and the staff and friendly and helpful. The room was clean but the hot water did not work in the shower. The ceiling of the room seemed to have some black stains, not sure if they could be mould, the room didn’t smell mouldy.

Beautyful and peaceful little hotel, well located and really safe. Unfortunately our room didn’t satisfied our expectation. Poor cleanness (the bed sheet and the towels were dirty), really strong humid smell and on top we had a plumbing problem that took over 12h to be solved. I believe this hotel has a great potential if they will upgrade/reform a bit more the rooms.

Location is good, rooms are bad
This place is nice looking but everything is old and musty. The room has a mold smell and the water is not fresh for shower, taste salty. The pool in not clean and around the pool has screws sticking up out of the deck. WiFi is very spotty. Location is the only thing that is good

Do not let the photos fool you
This hotel was due for a renovation 7 years ago. When we got there, we were early before checkin so we hung around the pool area. At 13:50 we asked again if our room was ready. They said it was but had to ask the manager if they could let us in 10 minutes early. They were not allowed to. Why? I don't know, but I have never experienced this type of distrust or lack of service mindedness. The premisses is falling to pieces. It rained in on my bed at night, which we let the manager know. He fixed it by leisurely putting a tarp over the roof. The room is damp, and there are moisture balls in every corner to manage this. The door is impossible to close and lock, and there are gaps inbetween the roof and the walls to let insects in. They also wouldn't let us check out before checking our room. There is no minibar, so I am assuming they wanted to see if we destroyed anything in the room. Also shows the amount of distrust for their guests, which is ridiculous considering I would never trust this hotel given the discrepancy between photos and reality. Do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel until they have renovated and changed management. Or lowered the price, because it is NOT worth what we paid.

The structure is really poor, poorly maintained, and almost entirely made of wood (that is not bad if well-maintained). It immediately becomes noticeable that no maintenance has been done for years. Many of the parts of the structure are broken and give a sense of abandonment. The rooms are decent, but the water in the shower flows in small drops, there is no pressure, and the air conditioning is totally inadequate for the size of the room (totally useless). The windows barely close, letting mosquitoes in and making all the noises around, without considering the mold that forms due to the lack of maintenance of the wooden structure. There is only a bar open in the morning for breakfast (not included in the price), and then that's it. There is not even the possibility of drinking something while staying in the pool, which, among other things, has cloudy water (ergo, no maintenance). The price for the room is well more than double its real value, it should cost 50-60% less for what it offers. At the same price, there are much better structures near this hotel. Don't be fooled by the photos.

The room was clean but basic. No door on the bathroom. Toilet door did not close properly. Toilet leaked so floor was constantly wet. Hot water was hit and miss - had one hot shower during the four days. Water pressure was low. Fridge didn't work but they did offer us free breakfast. room locked with a padlock which was an issue one day as I was sick/asleep in the room but the door had to remained open otherwise, either I was locked in the room or my husband couldn't get back in the room without waking me. Pool area was nice but more chairs/lounges were needed.

Great and relaxing solo travel experience
Great and sanctual little spot in Uluwatu. I thought this property was well suited to a solo (which is rare) with many great common spaces including library, pool and bar. Super helpful and friendly service and spacious rooms with all you need. Central location and right next to Bingin beach, you’re able to rent scooters through the hotel and explore nearby spots including Dreamtime beach, Bingin, shopping and about 10 minutes away from single fin etc.

great style; very helpful
--the place is a little worn around the edges, but it has a really charming aesthetic, especially in the common/lounge/pool areas --really amazing service when I had some difficulty --only real issue I had was that sometimes music from the hotel bar was played to loud, and this could be heard in some of the rooms

For Bali prices, I think this property is too expensive for what you get. The rooms also look a lot nicer in pictures than they are in real life. However, I will say that the location is lovely and very quaint, with super cute spaces throughout the property for you to chill and get some relaxation. The staff is super sweet and very accommodating. I wasn't very happy with the room I was given upon arrival and they upgraded me to a bigger one with no change in price. The location is walking distance to Bingin Beach, which is nice. Uluwatu is a beautiful place in general, so you're guaranteed to have a lovely time regardless of where you stay.

I found three different types of mould in my room, I heard staff on walkie-talkies outside my bathroom, anyone could see me showering if they simply looked through the dilapidated and decaying wooden blinds(they had gaps in them and some aren’t properly fixed to the walls). When I checked out on my first evening, a member of staff got the manager on the phone who said if i cancelled the reservation I would be able to get a refund, then hung up on me. This was literally untrue, I am yet to get a refund, nor have I been able to cancel the reservation online as the first day had began. Pictures suggested a nice basic room, they failed to highlight the decaying state of the room, or the rust coated shower heads that poured out metallic tasting water. Unfortunately, I am not able to recommend this hotel, as at least in the case of my room, the weak AC and smell of mould left me with a lukewarm and noxious room that gave me discomfort in my chest within 2 hours of being in there. There was literal brown filth coating all the light switches. I’m not sure if the rooms are cleaned more than with a cursory vacuuming and mopping. If you do not mind a dirty room, and mould, then by all means, visit here. Do know though that the doors are VERY flimsy, and the wooden bar that is supposed to bolster them literally cannot be used with the door locked, as the lock keeps it from being able to slot over the door with both sides secure. Anyone could barge in with slight effort.

Salty showers
The hotel itself is pretty (similar to the photos) and the staff very kind. However, I was very disappointed with the hotel. The room was large and spacious, but there was not even a curtain to separate the shower from the room. When you showered, water got all over the place outside of the shower. There was no fresh water.. all water from the sink and the shower was salt water. The water pressure from the shower was also low, and there was very little hot water. We had just arrived from traveling and being sweaty so we were looking for a quick shower upon arrival, so not being able to shower properly was quite annoying. Although they offer a small jug of clean water when you arrive, they didn’t have bottled fresh water, so be prepared to bring your own. They had no towels when we checked in. The AC in our room barely worked (only a slight noticeable effect and room was still hot at night). I don’t blame this on the hotel, but there was nearby construction going on, and the workers started hammering at 8 AM. In conclusion, I don’t think the one night we stayed was worth the price we paid. It’s not nice to shower in cold, salt water and at a bare minimum, bottles of water should be made available at reception (even if only available to purchase).

Needs a makeover - mold everywhere in the room
We stayed here for 1 night (luckily only one), there is mold everywhere in the room and cracks everywhere along the doors and windows (so mosquitos can fly in and out whenever they want). The bed and mattress are super hard; when one persons moves, the other is awake immediately. There is no privacy in the room, toilet is not closed and you can look into the room. Would be worth +-40 EUR but not 90. With checkout we mentioned the mold and got our 3 drinks at the pool for free. The least they could do. The place needs a massive massive refurbishment. The pool and restaurant area are nice and do have a real bohemian style.
