Large, clean room with partial lake view. Lovely breakfast on rooftop bar with fab views. Managed to park right outside with a few steps to hotel. No one around initially to check in, but eventually appeared…. Very friendly…gave us a choice of two rooms…. Very informal and no English! Lovely stay.

Great stay
We had a great time at the Fulya Pansion. Ibrahim Bey is a wonderful welcoming host. It felt like staying with a relative or a good friend. He recommended what to see and do in the area and organised the transportation for us. On one day he cooked a wonderful BBQ for us. The rooms were spacious and had all necessities. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the food. We really enjoyed our stay.

A little gem
Reception situation not great. It looks a little tatty and you have to phone the receptionist if they are not there at booking in time. Noisy at night when people come upstairs. Rooms and bathrooms are a good size. Breakfast area lovely but could have done with a selection of fruit and perhaps cooked-to-order eggs. Having a toaster was excellent. All in all great value.

I had visited this delightful small town in 1982, so was curious to go back. This hotel is located on the peninsula giving excellent views of both sides of the lake, as well as the town and surrounding mountains. The blue colour of the lake is absolutely stunning - photos do not capture its brilliance. We were welcomed warmly, in English (although the owner Ibrahim clearly speaks other languages) and shown to our room. The rustic building has been tastefully modernised, and our room was both clean and comfortable. The evening meal was in the adjacent Charlie's restaurant, part of the complex, which shares excellent views across the lake. Locally produced vegetables, fruit and fish from the lake featured in the meal. Breakfast was on the roof terrace, again with a wonderful panoramic view of the lake set in its surrounding mountains. I will most definately be back, and recommend this gem.

Fine place to stay in Egirdir, Turkey
Quite a mixed result. Room was ok with a very low ceiling to the balcony. Balcony large but no furniture or awnings so full sun all afternoon and evening and it was 29 degree that day. Balcony door did not close (without extreme force). Bathroom had a restrictor on the sink tap and a shallow sink so you could get an extra shower if you are not careful. Kettle in room did not turn off so had to be watched. The good side the staff were great, room was very quiet and the view was great. Parking was ok but don't be late. There should be a rule that hotel owners stay one night in each room.
