Disappointed
Noisy front of staff rude Purchased a bottle wine at bar 10 minutes later asked to leave and sit outside with the flies as they had to shut at 5.30 pm no notice when we purchased the wine other patrons were also told to leave it very hot and no shade Rooms were so noisy as the walls to next room were thin Even hearing next door talking and snoring

This place isn’t about the “property”. It’s part of the starkly rugged and beautiful Gammon Ranges.

Nice to get a sorry and mean it
Wonderful location and had a great 8 day stay doing lots of hiking. However for the entire stay we had a fridge that didn't work. Complained daily but not once did anyone bother come to look. Just said sorry. Well we lost over $100 worth of food and ended up having to eat at their restaurant 4 times ($100 each time)as nowhere to restock food and ran out of long life food. If it wasn't for our own car fridge we wouldn't have had cold water. Won't rely on a fridge anywhere again. 😕 It seemed no one in charge. Staff just leave notes.

Wonderful staff
Lovely staff but sadly the room we had was tired mainly as the bathroom was unpleasant and the floor was very gritty( we take our shoes off when entering accommodation so it was very evident that the floor had not been swept) Also despite 2 bath towels and a bath mat, there was no hand towel which meant we had to use one of the bath towels as a hand towel- this could potentially be a hygiene issue. The ridge top trip was excellent, learning so much from our guides, Gary and Macca. They were impressive!

A bit tired
Yes, i know this place is in the outback and good staff are probably hard to come by, but we felt this place was a bit over rated. Our accommodation was basic and the resort's focus was on catering for tour groups. I guess they provide regular repeat business, unlike freedom travellers like us. The Information provided on 4WD tracks and walks in the area was first class. The included breakfast was basic - fruit, cereal, toast and make your own instant tea and coffee. The yellow footed rock wallaby feeding and viewing each evening is a must attend. Best opportunity to see these gorgeous animals up close. So a mixed review but that's how we found it.

Great Visit
A very interesting place to visit. Outstanding scenery, great 4WD tracks to explore, many excursions available etc. The room was tired, bed good, no TV, internet was nearly non existant as was phone reception, good if you want to get off the grid. One coat hanger only in the wardrobe! Dont expect above average accommodation, but thats not why you go there. The staff and service was exceptionally good, friendly and accommodating. The jewel in the crown was the resteraunt, food quality was outstanding, a pleasure.

beautiful nature and great hiking trails. the room at the greenwood lodge is absolutely ok for the price The kitchen in the lodge is minimal standard and not very clean. The laundry has 1 washing machine and is not really inviting for washing. If you write them an e-mail, please do not expect an answer!
