Wonderful hotel and the staff was amazing! We felt so welcome. The room we got was great but as summer nights in Iceland are very bright the curtains could be better. At least have roller blinds behind the blackout curtains. The food at the restaurant was amazing as was the breakfast.

We got storm in at the hotel and the staff was very nice, provide coffee and water throughout the day.

The room itself was adequate. The shower is a little slippery for older folks. Beds were comfortable and the double pillows were an added bonus. The main issue was the restaurant. It appeared that service in that restaurant differs depending on the color of one’s skin which was disappointing as it put a small damper on my mother’s dream trip.

We liked this hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and told us where to go in the area. The room is small but was good enough for us. Best part was the amazing breakfast, best one we had in Iceland! Featured many delicious options.

Overall, the hotel was good. The breakfast was the best one during my trip to Iceland. The staff were friendly, and the room felt clean but had a strange smell in addition to the sulfur smell found in Iceland.
