Gem in centro

Loved this little gem in the middle of centro. Beautiful garden are with hammocks and sun beds and a pool, good bar service, nice breakfast buffet and great greeting service from the valet and front desk. Rooms are huge, I had one with the jacuzzi tub that I used twice. Good a/c, lots of water and nice and quiet. Will definitely stay again!

The location is very convenient, with an easy walk to Paseo Montejo and the Central Park, with tons of shopping and restaurants of all types, from fancy to basic. The only issue we had was luke-warm water in the shower, but the overall value for money can't be beat.

Merida - a foodie paradise in the Yucatan

Loved Merida. The food is the best in Mexico. The hotel is located a few blocks from Parque Santa Ana which is where you need to be for the cultural experience. The hotel food is just okay, so I recommend that you spend your time eating outside at the fantastic collection of cafes and restaurants.
