Anniversary weekend
We had a wonderful stay at the State Hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The property is well kept, clean, and in a great location. If we ever get back to Seattle, this would be our place to stay.

8/10 Very good

Parking night mare
The hotel and staff were fine. Parking was very frustrating for us. First, our fault but still frustrating -our driving app had us going to the south side of the hotel and there was no place to park, and the one way grid has us going around and around trying to find a place to park. Second - finally told to go park in the parking structure down the street. We did, we tried at least 15 times but could not get their parking code to take our payment- it kept timing out. And you had to know your license plate- we were in a hurry to meet out appointment and was so frustrated with all the parking crap we were stressed out. We gave up. Couldn’t get it to work in the morning either. We paid $32 for about 12 hours of parking. We likely won’t be back it was so frustrating.

4/10 Fair

Probably wouldn’t book again.
The rooms were tiny! reception was very friendly but the rooms were not so functional, rented 2 rooms and 1 of them didn’t have a coffee maker.. Shampoos & conditioners were a multi use bottle so they stay in the room throughout multiple guest stays which seemed a bit odd to us. no parking offered, in the sketchiest part of the city. opened up our curtains to nothing but a brick wall which was kinda funny. breakfast bar was sad. no fridges/microwaves in the rooms either.

We loved the service everyone was pleasant and we were finally getting a honeymoon as well as celebrating our anniversary and the staff helped us honor this special occasion! Thank you!
