Learn more about Saluda

Tucked at the top of the once-steepest mainline railway in America, this mountain town offers small-town charm with big adventures. Main Street's Victorian buildings house quirky shops where locals chat with visitors like old friends. The Saluda Historic Depot tells tales of the famous Saluda Grade railway that defined this community. Adrenaline seekers can zip through the forest canopy at The Gorge Zipline or brave the rapids with Green River Adventures. Pearson's Falls rewards hikers with a 90-foot cascade surrounded by a botanical garden of native plants. In winter, Moonshine Mountain transforms into a snow tubing paradise. After outdoor exploits, refuel at family-owned eateries where servers remember your order and suggest the perfect swimming hole at nearby Lake Summit.

The beautiful Little Bradley Falls which is much easier (and safer) to reach that the larger Big Bradley Falls. A pleasant walk through the forest will lead you to this beauty although there is a creek crossing that require you to get your feet wet if the water level is high.
