"We could not have been happier with our choice of hotels for our trip. From the moment that we walked in I was happy. The high ceiling and openness of the lobby is stunning. The walls are painted deep teal, wood paneling and wood floors that shine like glass. Chandeliers hang everywhere. It’s both romantic and sexy.
I adored the restaurant which was smallish and calming. Oysters on the half shell and burgers were to die for. Cocktails were fabulous.
Our first encounter with the staff was Kay who treated us like family. She’s a special employee.
We did not stay in the train cars but I would love to our next visit. I took many many photos of them. What a unique vision to turn these cars into sleeping accommodations.
We will be back soon.

"Always a pleasant stay here!! Better than any hotel at this price point, especially in this ideal location.
It’s in a safe area, surrounded by tons of restaurants and stores, all within walking distance. Rooms are clean, the beds & pillows are comfy, the TV is great (Smart TV with apps), the hot water & pressure are perfect, the shower head is wonderful & the complementary soap, lotion, shampoo, & conditioner smell so good.
There’s a microwave & a small refrigerator in each room, lots of plugs & USB ports all over room, iron/ironing board, & you can choose from smoking & non-smoking rooms. (For the non smokers, don’t worry!! The hotel does NOT reek of cigarette smoke!) I’m a smoker so trying to find a smoking hotel that isn’t filthy & scary isn’t easy! Am very glad I found this place last year!
I’ve only had the breakfast once in the several times that I’ve stayed there, but it was good. They had cereal of course, I think they had a waffle iron. I had the yummy biscuits & gravy, eggs, bacon, which was good.
The staff is always very accommodating & friendly, very helpful & kind.
I’ve only spoken to the woman that works in the morning at the front desk… like, I've literally only spoken to her on the phone a few times, (never actually met her face to face), but she is the SWEETEST woman & does an amazing job at making sure that everyone is taken care of & the hotel is running smoothly, etc. I wish I knew her name! Anyway, she’s amazing!
Thanks for another great stay!
