"We had an amazing stay at the Podstine hotel- staff were very friendly and helpful throughout and the location is perfect if you want peace with a 20 minute walk into Hvar town for restaurants/ shops/ water taxis -one set of steps and rest on the flat promenade. Swimming was fantastic off jetty, ladders or stone steps so different options. Views were spectacular.

"Excellent hotel for couples. The Culinarium is worth every penny. The buffet dinner at The Restaurant was a bit disappointing if you are not into seafood. Would have appreciated more meat options there. I can greatly recommend the Swim-Up rooms especially if you like your own privacy. "

"All inclusive adults only feature was great! No kids so it was quiet. Free food and drinks and select alcoholic beverages. View from our swim up pool was amazing! "Amazing Makarska beachside hotel with lovely refreshing pool and seconds away from long pebble beach along which there were loads of restaurants and bars. Had good size beautifully positioned seaview balcony with agave-style plants overlooking the pool and the sea. We booked half board option and had great buffet food for breakfast and evening. "They upgraded our room so we had a mini suite and it was nice. Beachfront is difficult to enter the water. Go to the beach to the left as you face the water. Pool is very small for a larger resort. Buffet had a lot of choices but the a lot of the same food for all three meals (many breakfast items that we would consider lunch or dinner). Most buffet hot items were cold by the time you served yourself, even if you were there at the start. We enjoyed the wine on tap! Biggest issue for us is...

and restaurant are really nice. Our room was great too! The only thing that we didn’t like is that the hotel is right next to the church and the bells ring very loudly (sometimes at 4am and 6am) and so we were woken by this on the Sunday and the Tuesday. "

"We were on the 5th floor with a sea view and it was beyond what we expected! The balcony and view were amazing, the apartment was spacious and modern, all windows had automatic shutters to block out light making it easy to sleep. The balcony had a rack to dry your bathing suits and towels which was great. The swimming pool was perfect for the kids and the beach was right in front of the hotel (the water is stunning, warm and clean!!). The staff was amazing and so kind for check in and check out....

"Such a great hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but the location, pool and staff more than makes up for that. Big selection of food at breakfast and staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool is such a great facility. It’s not a huge pool but the space is big so never felt crowded and has great views over the town. Would definitely stay again. "
