"I was a little worried staying here. Some of the reviews were not to great. But the reviews were wrong. The owners are really working hard to make this place good. Our room was compact. We didn't have a lot of extra room but we had all we needed. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. We looked at the other larger rooms and they were all clean and you could tell updated. We enjoyed the waffle maker for breakfast. The only thing we wished was a crosswalk to stop traffic to go to the beach they have. You do take your life in your hands crossing. We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the lake. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay again but in a larger room facing the lake. "

"Charming hotel with extremely friendly management. It’s good to see an old school Adirondack hotel still exists. The room was comfortable and rather spacious. The restaurant/bar is a local hangout and the clientele was welcoming. The servers were the same. Would love to return "

"I arrived late and they sent me a text about how to access my room. They are dog friendly. I left early and I got a quick cup of coffee and left a note at desk. No muss, no fuss!"
