Such cute town. Still many authentic small businesses unlike Truckee which is now very boogie and overpriced. Easier access to Northstar and right on the lake

Cute town, walkable and bike riding lanes. Plenty of spots for eating and shopping BUT the parking is VERY LIMITED EVERYWHERE. Plan ahead.

We wish KB would do something about the shuttered businesses and the eyesore next to Crown Motel. Overall, KB is a great place to stay!

There is a Safeway grocery store within a block of the property. Many restaurants and public beaches are within a 30 minute walk or 10 minute drive away. There's a fun adventure park within a 10 minute drive from the property also.

"Awesome! Absolutely loved this place.
Check-in was fast and efficient. Friendly staff that had great recommendations for restaurants.
Room was awesome. Great view, poolside and large. Beds were good, shower was hot and the AC was ice cold.
Can't beat the location. Everything you might want to do is walking distance. The lake pier is 200 yds down the beach. Pool is nice, but got sandy later in the day and it closes too early at 9p. 10 min to Northstar bike park too!
Only grip is parking - VERY tight, especially good through the "portico", but you can access the lakeside buildings from the stop light near the Sinclair gas station if need be.
Will absolutely stay again. "
"Place is great! Will for sure stay again. Only bad thing, rooms dont have AC. Usually not needed but was a little warm. But perfect spot, clean, nice beds and customer service. Will be back. "
