4Points Sheraton: Not Perfect, but Perfect for me!
I extended my stay by one night 3times because i did not want my staycation to end.
The place is the right size to feel anonymity when breezing thru the lobby AND to feel you’re being personally looked after by the warm front desk staff (Thank you for everything, Simone).
There was a rare Carolina snowfall just before/during my stay, and it was disappointing that, even after several days, the steep asphalt hill leading up to the parking lot, as well as the parking lot itself, were still covered in a thick sheet of ice, posing a hazard to every guest and employee who had to walk or drive thru it.
The rooms are perfectly appointed (maybe a little crowded in the King room since squeezing between the bed and tv became murder on my shins a few times. Not Sheraton’s fault that I’m clumsy though.)
I had a few exchanges with the housekeeping supervisor (whose name I can’t recall) but whose exemplary work ethic made immediately clear the reason she’d been promoted to this position. What a leader!) so above & beyond helpful is her talent for anticipating the needs of others before the need even arises.
One more thing. The breakfast I had would have been perfectly satisfying had it been free/included. But for $25 I felt I’d been price gouged. Not a good feeling to inspire in a customer. Service tho was polite and attentive. Kitchen was slooow.
But I’ll be back the next time I need to escape the chaos of everyday life.
