Location was great!

Loved that the hotel was a 5 min walk from the train station across the park. You are right in central Galway and all the action. Our room was in the rear of the hotel so it was dead quiet. They have a breakfast for 15 Euros but we chose a breakfast place right across the street. Everything is walkable from the hotel.

The location is great near Eyre Square, the sights, and the bus and train station. The hotel is old but serviceable for a short stay.

We liked the property’s location to restaurants, pubs and groceries. It was a bank holiday weekend so it was quite loud . We were woken several times through the next get by loud guest’s conversation in the hallway. The parking is within walking distance but quite a way, in a parking garage which the hotel validates the ticket so we got a discounted rate. Overall, the room served its purpose with a comfortable bed and wonderful shower.

This was a good hotel for us as it was close to the bus station, pubs, restaurants, sights, etc. The hotel felt a bit dated but was clean.

Good but triple check late checkout request
Lovely lady on reception checked us in and the the room was ready about 20 minutes ahead of check-in time and it smelled so fresh and clean and asked to ensure that late checkout was noted .. but unfortunately when booking and paying for late checkout doesn't always go to plan. On last 2 occasions lack of communication has resulted in either calls from reception or knocks on door from house keeping..this needs to improve...

Out of the 3 hotels we stayed at around Eyre Square, my daughter and I agreed that this was our favorite. It’s quite large inside with a restaurant and a bar. Our room was a good size, very clean, and very comfortable. The location is right off the square and just around the corner from Shop Street. Super easy to get around and explore—a perfect central location. It’s close to the bus station, train station and a nice walk to the Aran Island Ferries. We loved it. The restaurant food, was fine, lots of variety, but not my favorite soda bread there. But there are tons of places and pubs right around that area to choose from.

4/10 Fair

We were traveling with friends and on the second day we were there we traveled out of town to see sights. Our friends received a call that their room flooded out from a broken pipe above them and they needed to return immediately. Our day was completely ruined as was their luggage and clothing with water and sheet rock. Hotels answer was to give a free dinner and try to wash clothing, nothing else, not even a free night, what a joke. Also to park our car we had to walk back to hotel, a 15 minute walk on some dirty streets!
