The initial room I got was old, outdated, and for handicapped people. When I asked to move, they were accommodating and I got a better room with a view of the strip. (thank you Roxanne!) this room, tho, was up on the 70th floor, and we could hear the noise from the strip as if it were right outside our room. A mariachi band playing ALL night until 4 am kept us up and the cold wind blew in the window. This went on for the entire stay. The whole downstairs was filled with cigarette smoke. It was quite a lengthy walk from the lobby to the elevators for the rooms, which was actually a maze. About a 10 minute walk each way. The elevators do not come quickly. Average wait time for an elevator is 7-10 minutes. Carpets and decor were not real clean, old, stained, and worn out. Paint on the walls and doors to rooms was also scuffed and chipping. For what I paid for this stay, I expected a lot more, and was pretty disappointed. I don't recommend this place unless you are good with paying high prices for tons of smokey areas and not a lot of quiet. We ate at Gordon Ramseys, I give that a 10!! Pricey, but I thought it was worth it. We also ate at Cafe Americano and I got food poisoning from the Poke Bowl. I was sick for 4 days vomiting this crap (yes it was the poke bowl as that is what was coming out) HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

1st time Vegas
Hotel was fine. Nothing great, but nothing bad either. It’s clear that only two corporations own majority of hotels on strip cause they’re all the same. Over priced food and drinks, low amenities, low customer service. They don’t have to put in an effort or customer service, because there’s no one to compete with. Went here to experience Vegas, probably won’t return without a real reason to.

It is not 4 star hotel anymore.
We had 4 rooms on 22nd floor. The conditions of the rooms are certainly not qualify them to be 4 star anymore. I took pictures and presented to the management as a proof. Torn mattress , loose shower tile, broken luggage rack. I certainly hope they don’t give these rooms to others. On the positive side we won money on the gaming tables. I have stayed there in the past but due to this lack of upkeep; I will never stay there again.

We checked in late and even though we called to notify them, they gave away our room. They updraded us but we didn't even get the view we had paid additional for. They extended the property that it felt like we were in the adjacent Horseshoe hotel instead of the Paris. Very disappointed about the experience. It was our anniversary and we were hoping it would have been a better experience
