Dont judge by its shell
Seem to be in the middle of renovation. This is the old hard rock hotel. The entrance is dark & casino/main areas are unimpressive ...however once we reached the canyon tower, everything was fresh and clean, updated into a vintage modern style. Clean room, comfotable beds and all the amenities. Fridge is a minibar so no place to put anything personal which was disapointing. Staff was accomodating but definitely not welcoming or friendly.

It was fine but the strike was happening and not a good experience outside at the valet. The front desk service was not as pleasant as expected. Employee just wasn’t engaged in there job.

Very Aesthetic, coukd use better management.
This hotel was absolutely stunning. It's newer, it's very clean and esthetic, And the property is huge. My only issue was that my room kept smelling A very strong cigarette smoke. I understand that this is a casino, But my room was nowhere near smoking areas. I called three times About it and I feel like no one really cared or believd me. It got so bad and the smell was so strong, it woke me up from my sleep at 2am. I tried calling again, but every time I tried to reach the front desk. It sounded like they forgot to hang up the phone. And I could hear everyone's conversation. It was pretty bad.

Hotel Stay
Added on big fees to check in a little early even though plenty of rooms available. Did not think that made it user friendly. Good central location for what we were there for. Couldn’t get a cup of coffee in room or anywhere in building. Companies in building on strike. Got harassed by picketers when coming and going.

One of the only hotels with free parking!
I like the southwestern vibe of the Virgin. It's nice to have a more chill hotel off the Strip. Super appreciate the free parking!! Very comfy bed, cool room decor, and Kassi is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Vegas (their whipped ricotta and toasted bread is to die for!)
