Excellent location and a very comfortable hotel.
Room very clean and comfortable. On one occasion when using the bar I visited the ladies toilet. Condition of toilet was quite frankly deplorable. We didn’t always get our tea and coffee replenished but I’m sure we would have if we had requested.
Location is excellent, right in the heart of Brussels and within easy walking distance of the sights and pubs/restaurants.

The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was excellent, only complaint is the tub would not drain properly, difficult to take a shower. Other than that the stay was lovely.

Feathers paradise
if you are sensitive to Down feathers stay away from this place. Not only do they assume you are not but if you do not make arrangements ahead of time they will not even swap your pillows for synthetic pillows.
We arrived to this hotel not expecting this to be a problem, when we finally discovered the issue because our daughter was starting to have an asthma attack, we asked for the pillows to be swapped at least, they plain refused stating only the cleaning crew had access to them and they were already gone... Once our daughter started to have difficulty breathing we left, they charged us for the night and the manager refused to talk to us leaving his staff to apologize for the treatment!
It is shameful for a chain like Mariott.

Nice central hotel
The location of this hotel is great, very central and near lots of cafes and restaurants. Sadly the hotel wasn’t as great as I thought it would be after reading the reviews. Our family consisted of 1 adult and 2 children. We had booked a Superior King which came with an additional bed for my youngest. We arrived to no extra bed in the room, it was coming later in the evening. We only had 2 towels, 2 cups and 2 glasses not a room set up for 3 people. The room needed a bit of TLC, dents in the woodwork, the sink drained so slowly and the pressure from the shower was terrible. I expected more from the Marriott brand and the amount I had paid. Our view was out over the building work behind the hotel not a nice view. We were all looking forward to the breakfast as had read good things about it. But we were disappointed. The hot food was cold even the food that the chef had just brought out from the kitchen, you had to make your own waffles which wasn’t easy ours didn’t turn out very good so didn’t bother the next few mornings. The pancake mix was always empty and nobody around to change it. There were not enough staff, plates were piling up on our table and as a party of 3 most mornings we were sat at a table for 2 so was very cramped. We didn't spend much time in our room but it was good that the location was so central. A few things could be improved and it would make this hotel a fantastic place to stay.

Front desk was very good - efficient check-in and out and concierge was very helpful regarding helping me easily get to all my outings. The hotel is very well situated in Brussels’ Grand Place area and the subway, buses, trams and taxi stand are all a few metres from the hotel entrance. My room on the 6 th floor was very spacious and comfortable layout with excellent bathroom layout and best shower re easy to use hardware and water flow/ temperature. The 6 th floor was very quiet which I appreciated and the daily cleaning service was first rate. The main lobby is very tired looking and needs a complete redesign. Room service food was very poor quality and way over priced. The Restaurant Barcine sb shut down as its menu and service is poor and my croquet Barcine was served hit on the outside with cold meat and cheese in the inside! Latte was way overpriced compared to all other restaurants in the area. And their product line was very limited - no Perrier, no Coke of any kind. So great staff and location and room but hotel needs a renovation and the restaurant quality needs a much required rethink and improvement.

Right in the middle of the Brussel Central, close to the metro, all exciting restaurants and beautiful, historic buildings!!! The room temperature could be regulated better since the air conditioner didn’t work well. The Rotisserie is wonderful. The breakfast has a lot of choices but could be better. The staff are superb!!! I highly recommend Brussel Marriott Hotel Grand Central as a place to stay for vacation!

The service and staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful and hospitable. Will definitely visit here again and highly recommend staying here. The location is very central. The concierge department was 10/10. Charles Fouich in the food and beverage department was extremely helpful and his level of service was mind blowing and exceptional. Because of this hotel I will definitely visit Brussels again. Very warm, friendly, inviting and centrally located around everything.

This is an excellent hotel located right in the centre of Brussels. My wife was taken ill half way through our four day stay, the staff were excellent and went above and beyond their job descriptions to assist me in obtaining what i needed, they were polite and helpful, right down to the cleaning staff, all brilliant. Give yourselves a pat on the back

The front desk staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The person that came to clean the room didn’t come until about 2:30-3:30. We were resting and asked her to just leave clean towels. The second day we came back to the room at about 3:30, the room wasn’t cleaned yet and we had to call the front desk to ask them to get someone to clean the room.
The breakfast was very good.
