Not as great as it used to be
We were there for 5 nights and supposed to get cleaning every other day. But we only had it once during the trip. There was always trash (pizza boxes, food debris, and stuff from other rooms piled on the table in the hallway outside of our room). It just seems like the hotel has gone downhill from a few years ago. Used to feel much higher end, cleaner, etc. On the positive side, the rooms are large and the valet staff was fantastic. That’s about it.

Great location
Great location for ski in and ski out. Rooms were great size. We enjoyed the ski storage and boot warming room. Wishes to better differentiate: - better breakfast - hotel transport to EGE

Corner room with a view of the parking / driving lane shouldn’t have been the same price as the Mountain View. Only real complaint was the massive amount of young (10 and under) soccer teams running the halls and stairways.

4/10 Fair

This place is way overrated! Thankfully I only booked one night so I could find other accommodations for the rest of my trip. This place is old and has had a paint job so don't let the photos fool you. Beds are terrible! Lump in the center and slide of each side kinda beds, they are very low to the ground and unsupported. I tried both of them. You can hear everything in adjoining rooms and hallway. I could hear every conversation walking down the hallway. Light comes through the doors (zero insulation). Also, you could hear the valet entrance and staff all night long! The only good thing about this place is you can walk 10min to the ski resort to find decent restaurants. I would not recommend, plenty of much better options in the area. Also, they charge an extra fee for valet parking which makes it less affordable than other places in the area.

Enjoyed my visit. Staff were very accommodating. Had a spacious corner room with a nice view. Hotel is a little removed from the village, but get the Beaver Creek Village Connect app and you will get fast free transportation. Beaver Creek area has a private resort feel, but you can still visit the more public Vail village only a few miles away.

6/10 Good

I have been staying at the Pines Lodge annually for over a decade - the Physical plant is .still nice BUT the sense of luxury and comfort has GONE. Poor service at front desk and bellman - are they trained??? Rooms not cleaned every day??? Coffee machine in room did Not work. Water not replaced. Hot water barely warm.

This was our second stay at The Pines this summer and we will return again. Everything was great - we even brought our dog and it was such an easy stay with him. The pool was heated as well so that made the trip even better than the last! The staff was so accommodating and that showed even more after checkout. I called several times because my son left his stuffy in the room and a week later they found him and sent him back to us with a card. My son was ecstatic. Only downside was the blinking light on the ceiling in the middle of the room at night - definitely not easy to sleep with that lighting up.
