Not terrible but not great
No hot water on Sunday. Breakfast was unorganised ran out of cups, glasses, oj. Room was nice but could have been cleaner. Cooked breakfast was good.

Fire alarm.
My stay was ok, other than the fire alarm going off at 3am. No explanation, no apology. My room was adequate and the fried breakfast was good. Service at breakfast was ok, but as there was only one person covering breakfast, there was no greeting and I was very much left to sort myself out.

Unsatisfactory accommodation
We put 3 sub contractors into your hotel for 2 nights. One bathroom was dirty with mold & “mushroom” growing! One room had food stains on the carpet. General cleanliness & attention to detail very poor. Main parts of hotel & food good!

The kitchen staff were really excellent, waiters quick and efficient. Something went badly wrong with room maintenance, unlikely to happen again.

Good stay, reasonably priced and very convenient for cycling along the canal nearby. They have good bike storage. One small recommendation for improvement; if a curtain could be placed over the entrance to the room, to block out the electric light from the courtyard at night.
