Review
Here’s what I liked and didn’t like about the place:
**The Good:**
- The pool, hot tub, outdoor space, lobby, and rooms are all nice.
- The servers, bartenders, and activity directors are super friendly, except for a few exceptions I’ll mention later.
- Check-in was easy, and they let us in before our actual check-in time.
**The Not-So-Good:**
- To get to the beach, you have to travel down 4 flights of steps, which is a bit tiring.
- There aren’t any umbrellas unless you’re part of the “vacation club,” except for a few spots on the left side in a hidden area.
- The restaurants won’t let more than a table of 8 sit together. The one time our server in the Paloma got permission, but another lady came and told us we had to move and that we needed to stop asking for this accommodation.
The DJ is held outside the Paloma, and we went 5 nights out of our 7-night stay and 4 of those the area was no closed off with the plastic side canopies, the last night we went, the refused to put them us despite the heat and smoke from the grill they had cooking inside the area.
- The Italian restaurant made a male in our group change his shirt because it was sleeveless men’s while a woman whose breasts and nipples were showing was allowed in. I guess that’s appropriate, but not a man’s arms.
**My Biggest Complaint:**
- When checking out, I had booked transport for 17 people in my group with Caracol, and we paid them directly and had receipts. But the front desk said I had a room char
