Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan - Adults Only - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"This resort is great if you’re looking for an affordable trip, you get what you pay for. Breakfast was great. The resort was clean and well maintained. And the staff were helpful and kind."
"staff made the whole trip incredible. This was my mom’s first time at a resort and now she’s sprung!! The food was good and the amenities were great as well. This is a RIU hotel and it’s giving RIU but minus the overused bathrooms, rooms and all! worth it! even more worth it with 50% off! S/O to Iris and Alexander from the buffet! you guys’ service and energy made the difference!"
Temptation Cancun Resort All Inclusive - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"I love everything about this resort! Me & hubby Been here 7 times within 2 years. The food is awesome we usually do room service. Some of the restaurants you have to make reservations be careful with certain times like 7:30pm includes 1 bottle for $99 so please read the disclaimer. Flame, sea flirt, & Italian restaurants are all good places to eat. Don’t forget to check out the roof top pool & they also serve food as well. All cabanas are a one bottle minimum to book. We also went downtown which is about 10 min away driving they have all the clubs and a mall. It’s a tourists area which made it feel even more safe. They also have a 24 hr clinic across the street and 24hr pharmacy. And a shop where they sell liquor, junk food, souvenirs."
"The resort was beautiful. The security around the resort was great. The buffets were good for breakfast and lunch but at dinner all they served was different forms of egg plant. Nonetheless I would return, it’s a great way to visit the Xcaret parks without having to pay to stay at Xcaret."
Hotel Xcaret Mexico - All Parks / All Fun Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"Staff were wonderful and everyone is very friendly. My biggest issue is their lack of care when asking about food allergies. They ask when seating you but have no care whatsoever when taking your order or explaining food options at the buffet. Treat it seriously if you are going to ask.
Another big negative is bottled water in the room. With faucet water being non-drinkable, we asked multiple times for the bottled water to be placed in the room by housekeeping, but it was never done. When we called down to the front desk and it being promised to be brought up right away, it took over 90 minutes every time. Needless to say I will not be going back or recommending Xcaret."
Sunscape Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Spa by Hyatt
8/10 Good
"Hotel is good, with remarkably good food in the restaurants- breakfast especially great in Las Ventanas. All staff is excellent in their focus on service. The very clear downside for us was the presence of many (noisy) children and babies - but we should have checked. Premises could use some upkeep."
