Beautiful property that does not disappoint
Love this property! I enjoy staying at historic hotels so there's that, but this property pays attention to details. A beautiful property, comfortable areas to sit and relax with a book or play some cards etc. Lots of different opportunities to grab a bite to eat or cocktail. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pastries at Morsels are outstanding! Complimentary coffee in the morning and snacks in the afternoon. Nice touch! Oh and the views! Gorgeous!

Hotel is beautiful and well kept, check in was easy and friendly, room was clean and fresh. We had Dinner the first night at the inhouse resturant the server was outstanding, the food was fair, I expected more for the cost. The following night we opted for room service, staff was great and service was quick however the foor delivered could have come from a convienece store.

Do your research on the property! The location is beautiful and the staff is awesome! The hotel is in need of a renovation as it is old and tired and most upkeep on the rooms has been lost. Simple things like new bedding and a deep clean could help with making it appear fresh. A boutique hotel indeed, be careful of the room size when booking, all is not as it appears on travel/booking sites. Check on dining hours/days of operations due to the hotel location as there is not much in the area. (The local gas station actually has some pretty good pizza!) (Yes, we did check before we arrived and knew that Monday/Tuesday had limited options - I am reminding people to do their own research prior to arrival) Again, BEAUTIFUL location - she just needs some work to make her as beautiful on the inside as the outside.

The building is historic and pretty well maintained. We stayed for 3 nights and the only guest elevator broke down all 3 days. The service elevator was available for guests, that needed it. They did get the elevator back & up and running each day. We mostly used the stairs.
