This was a huge disappointment. I was looking forward to a relaxing week in the sun enjoying my time. Instead I got rubbished a checkin because I was an Expedia gold member and had to ask multiple times for the perks to be added. The pool bar staff were friendly as long as you wore overly skimpy swimwear and drank like a fish making yourself drunk by 1030 One chef at the beach grill actually threw food at me. When I complained I got a “sorry” then nothing. There were good parts. The Japanese teppanyaki was great and fun. Wait staff in the lobby were friendly. The bar staff not so much. I enjoyed the water and my time out of the hotel on a day trip to Isla Catalina. I wouldn’t come back

Estuve 5 dias en Bahia Princess Luxury Ambar y por momentos tuve duda por algunos comentarios, pero mi experiencia fue Excelente. Las comidas de muy buen nivel. Limbo un restaurant excelente Gourmet, Portofino excelente comida Italiana y el Steakhouse la atencion Buena no excelente aunque la comida muy Buena. Palmira excelente muy variado. La atencion de todo el personal del Hotel es muy buena. Alexandra en la playa es de las mejores... Siempre atenta y amable dispuesta a atenderte de la mejor manera. Sin duda volvere... Lo recomiendo. Siempre puede haber algun detalle pero no para bajarle estrellas a este hotel. En verdad muy Bueno.

Until Next Time
This resort is hands down the best we have ever been too. From beginning to end the staff are so friendly. Everything is so easy to navigate. The food and service were excellent. You must go to the Mongolian Grill it’s hands down the best restaurant at the resort. We also liked the Dominican Restaurant. We loved the Spa, the ladies who did our massages, manicure and pedicure were both awesome. The spa environment was so relaxing and the coolest place on the resort. We had the best time on our 5 night stay. Only thing is watch out for the people selling on the beach. Especially the foot rub women. Also the only shop near the property that felt honest was the one in the middle and bring cash for souvenirs because card is more expensive. We definitely will be back for longer next time to enjoy the pool and beach.

I loved the hotel, the food was excellent, the beach was amazing. The staff was incredible starting with Bielka at the beach bar, Juan Eduardo made our dinner time the best. I was truly amazed by the staff, Moises and Rosa from the sport bar, Aracelis and Leonardo from Las Brisas, Ñoño and Sterling from the buffet and the entertainment staff, Ninja, Mata e Coco and Chocolate were awesome. Overall it was great, l had one of the best birthdays vacays. The only thing was the air conditioner at the room was not keeping up with the heat from outside. But overall it was an amazing time. Again, special thanks to Bielka and Juan Eduardo.

I love the pool entertainment team they are amazing. Staff front desk are not friendly they should take a customer service course and learn how to treat people. Especially Expedia staff I meat a guy from Expedia in the theater to check my return back to the airport and he was the worst. When we checked in on the first day, the front desk tried to lie to us. we had booked 2 Queen beds. He told us that we had booked a King bed. If we wanted to upgrade to a room with 2 Queen beds, he could give us a discount and there would be an additional fee of 180. When I showed him my Expedia check-in details he looked unhappy and told us he’s going to ask his manager to override it. A bartender by the pool discriminated against us. We were the only asian travelers in the hotel when my friend and I asked him to make drinks. He looks like unhappy that doesn’t want to make drink for us. We got 4 drinks and wanted to leave a tip of 4 dollars. Seeing his attitude, we only put 2 dollars on the table. He looked at the money and didn't say thank you to us and didn't want to take the money. we shouldn’t leave any tips for him. The next day, my friends went to get drinks and another bartender lady was helping us. The same man saw us and said "chinese" in Spanish to the lady's ear. Then they both looked at us and started laughing,very rude behavior and made us feel very uncomfortable! Treat people good if you wants repeat clients! would not recommend any friends to this hotel again!
