There is a $15 resort fee charge. The place is not a resort at all. Not even a hotel. It is a motel type just like Morel 6. Although it says pet friendly, when you get to the so called "resort" there is a surprise fee of $30 fee for each pet. The charge with hotels.com was $64 but we ended up paying more than half with the resort and pet fees. I'd say keep away from this place.

Basic, cheap hotel
Very basic, cheap hotel. "Breakfast" was a single bowl of eggs, a few pieces of bread, and packets of instant oatmeal all shared by all guests.

Property is old and showing it in several areas. Shower had some mold where walls meet the tub. Shower controls are funky and required instructions to operate. Lighting is not great once curtains are pulled. The room/bathroom are showing their age and the place is due for some renovations in order to keep up with other properties. Beds were getting long in the tooth and have a distinct low spot in the middle of them. Wont likely book here again due to age and the bath issues unless they do some updating.

We forgot the earphone in the room and called the hotel. The staff said they did not find that. But we can locate it is still inside the room with the phone app.

It wasn’t really a resort, more like a renovated motel, could use a but more renovation. Wonderful family owned business, kind and professional and hardworking. The other issue was whenever the room next to us would close their door it was so loud it would startle us awake. It’s in a great location for convenience for Bryce. Otherwise it can use some improvements for the price and claim of a resort.

This property is not well cared for. The "view" from our cabin was of a mobile home park and a trailer park, complete with trash scattered on the ground. It wasn't filthy, but the cleaning had only gone so far, e.g. the tub was clean, but the shower surround was streaked from many showers. Bathroom is very small with almost no counter space. The roof was in bad shape, the outside of the whole resort is in bad need of refinishing. One of the screens was missing, so impossible to use that window. The landscaping was neglected; cabin had zero charm. All told, though the nominal room rate was $224, we ended up paying just shy of $300/night. Felt like a bit of a rip-off.

Not recommended!
I would not recommend this hotel. It is very run down, the area around it was dump like (abandon trailers and junk)...can't believe I had to pay a "resort fee". If you hadn't have been so tired, plus it was already paid for through the app and too late to cancel) we would have left. This place is awful. I'd give it no stars but the people were so sweet.

Calling this property a resort is more than a stretch. The "cabins" are freestanding motel rooms, and not good ones. The lighting was bare bulbs, the chairs were cheap molded plastic, the rugs were old and dusty (my allergies went crazy), the refrigerator did not have a freezer, and there were no toiletries. We were grateful for the picnic table out front so we did not have to eat in the dreary room. The onsite restaurant has a single fish offering and nothing vegetarian, but the serving staff were kind and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was typical motel fare but well prepared. Be advised this place charges a "resort fee," supposedly for use of the pool (dry) and parking, if you can believe it! The area around the place has a trailer park vibe, and not in a good way. If all you need is a clean bed and warm breakfast, this place will serve, but we drove past much better options in nearby Tropic, and we regret not having selected one of them.

The property seemed clean, but there was a face cloth still hanging in the shower. The biggest problem was with the furniture like the second bed. The whole bedframe was broken and sticking out from the underside. My husband actually tripped over it. Fortunately, we needed just one bed so the other bed was fine for us. The other furniture just looked really worn. It actually seem like everything had gotten really damp and wet at some point and the surfaces were peeling. Plus the floorboards creaked horribly. I hope there was nobody that was staying below us. Fine for one night.

Not worth the money
Resort? I don't think so. A $15 per room, per day resort fee was ridiculous. What was the extra service? The included breakfast was certainly not worth it. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.

The room was nice, but the overall property is very shabby. It’s all alone with no other services or properties near it, which makes it a little creepy. It’s basically a 1960’s motel.

I wouldn’t personally stay here again. The rooms are extremely dated and not cleaned properly. There was dirt marks around door jambs and handles that had been there for many visitors use, the bathtub had hair in it and one of the beds leaned significantly to one side so you couldn’t use it. I ate at the restaurant both nights, the staff were lovely and the drinks strong but the food was overcooked and either mushy or dry. It lacked flavor as well. Finally the water in the cabin was lukewarm at best so if you need a hot shower after a long day of hiking you won’t get it here. I also did not feel super safe as a single female traveller at this location. The man checking people in wasn’t very friendly and made me very uncomfortable but thankfully I did not see him again. I would recommend staying elsewhere. I will not be back.
