Calling this property a resort is more than a stretch. The "cabins" are freestanding motel rooms, and not good ones. The lighting was bare bulbs, the chairs were cheap molded plastic, the rugs were old and dusty (my allergies went crazy), the refrigerator did not have a freezer, and there were no toiletries. We were grateful for the picnic table out front so we did not have to eat in the dreary room. The onsite restaurant has a single fish offering and nothing vegetarian, but the serving staff were kind and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was typical motel fare but well prepared. Be advised this place charges a "resort fee," supposedly for use of the pool (dry) and parking, if you can believe it! The area around the place has a trailer park vibe, and not in a good way. If all you need is a clean bed and warm breakfast, this place will serve, but we drove past much better options in nearby Tropic, and we regret not having selected one of them.
