Location, beautiful, that’s about it.
Before our stay, we received an email and text explaining that check-in would be at a different “sister” hotel, not the property itself. When we arrived at the designated check-in location, there was a long line of guests from multiple hotels (this location handles check-in for four different properties), and only one employee was working. The check-in process was slow, disorganized, and frustrating—it could have been managed much better.
The room itself was disappointing. It was older than we anticipated and had a persistent musty smell. The heating unit was awkwardly placed under a desk, making it difficult to access and posing a fire hazard due to the wooden leather chair blocking it.
There were no extra towels, washcloths, or toilet paper in the room, and since there’s no on-site staff, we had no way to request these items. The microwave was unusable because the glass plate didn’t fit properly. Additionally, the sliding door only had a sheer privacy curtain that didn’t fully block the view from outside, leaving us exposed and allowing bright outdoor lights to shine into the room at night.
The one positive aspect was the location—it’s right by the ocean with a beautiful view. However, the issues with the room and the overall lack of care for the property overshadowed this.
This hotel has potential, but it desperately needs major improvements to meet even basic standards for comfort and convenience. We wouldn’t recommend staying here.
