Check for.major refurb before booking.
I hate giving a bad review, and the booking team were helpful when I needed to get in early, and responded quickly to general enquiries, but the property.....
The living room smelt really, really bad. No sound proofing, so the noise from drinkers started at 7pm and stopped at 3am. The cisterns of both toilets took an age to refill. No working extractor fans in either bathroom. The carpet was stained. Cooking utensils were old and stained. The cooker needs a good clean. The kitchen bin wouldn't close. Blinds and bedside lamp were old and tattered. Plus points...the fridge, bedding and towels, kitchen surfaces etc were immaculate. The cleaning staff did a good job with a very shabby flat.
