I blame both expedia and the hotel for my bad stay at this hotel. After traveling 30 hrs, the hotel would not check me in and said to come back at 11. This was a scheduling error on my behalf but I could not stay in the lobby as the staff were sleeping on the couches.
I come back at 11 and they do not have my booking nor the room available that I booked. I waited an hour until I accepted a lesser room with no window or seating in it.
Not once did they clean my room, but I saw them cleaning the room that I booked indicating that they were accepting new guests. They did not refund me nor did they allow me into the upgraded room that I paid for.
The food gave me Dehli Belly. I was served on dirty dishes, and the staff does not take care of dishes nor do they escort them to the kitchen when you are done. You will see last nights dinner hanging out in the hallway after several hours.
The hotel has no clean running water - DO NOT DRINK THE TAP. It makes the bathrooms smell.
The hotel elevator makes a musical chime every single time it is in use. This is so loud that you can hear it in your room all night long. Not only that, but the neighbor guests were loud and obnoxious and the hotel staff did nothing to quiet them down.
The area around the property is dirty I saw people burning garbage in the front commons.
Again. I still have not been contacted nor have I received a refund in price from the room difference that I paid. I did feel taken advantage of as a foreigner.
