Good location just outside the station. Clean and friendly staff. Noisy from inside (staff lift) and outside (wise homeless and drug issues than we've seen elsewhere.

Convenient hotel

Great location with hop on hop off bus opposite the hotel. You have to leave the key at reception if you go out of the hotel. Probably a good thing as a key is very heavy.

The property is really nice, modern and cozy. The rooms are fair and clean, the staff is truly nice and ready to help. We really appreciate the free public transport tickets for our stay. Also breakfast was very tasty! The thing as good as bad is the position near the station, sure it was strategic but people near the station were a littler noising at night. In the end, we surely recommend this property!

The check-in was very odd. As the receptionist (who was perfectly nice) was helping me check in, another member of the staff came in behind the counter and started yelling at him. He kept on yelling for several minutes and didn’t even seem to notice that there was a guest present. Extremely unprofessional and not at all the first impression you want to make. The room was nice and clean, albeit with a strong and long lasting smell of what I presume is the cleaning product. The doors are old and you hear all noice and conversations from the hallway; other than that it was calm.

An overnight stop with a four night stop to follow. Great position. No stairs at entrance. Lift availability to room as well as stairs. Reception area was busy with people checking in but flowed well and the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

We loved our room. It was across the street from the train station. We are seniors (ages 76 and 77) and the room had everything we needed to feel safe and comfortable. Staff were kind, friendly, helpful and professional. Hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, and tourist attractions. We recommend this hotel.

Train travel hub

I regularly stay here as the location is great for train travel. Friendly service, comfy enough bed. Breakfast is not the largest but is tasty. The interior feels a bit dated but is clean. Extra bonus is a free public transport voucher. The hotel is in two buildings so a bit of a trek if you are in the back building with some steps apart from the lift. That side also has some street noise. No bar, but chilled drinks in reception. Dog friendly, but not at breakfast.

The hotel and staff were lovely, reception staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable however lack tea or coffee making facilities. The area around the hotel is full of beggars literally as we stepped onto the hotels frontage we were approached by two beggars. Walking in the street opposite the station was full of beggars. Obviously this is no fault of the hotel and does not reflect on the hotel. Our sleep was broken each night by violent shrieks outside the hotel. Homeless and drunks passing by. Again no reflection on the hotel part from its location, seems to be in and around homeless and drunks
