Overnight stay

Nice older hotel right next to the ski mountain. Convenient to have a restaurant and bar in the same building.

Property is run down and outdated and didn’t smell the best. Could only get one channel on tv. Had a couple of store bought coffee cakes for breakfast.

Great value, definitely worth the stay.

I'm not sure why this place has great reviews...

The lady who helped us check in was great! I never was able to check in or make the app work. It didn't bother me at all, but there are only steep stairs, no elevator, so people with mobility issues might have a problem. My elderly mom did it, but it was challenging. I'm still getting used to travel with mobility concerns, so this was my planning issue, not the hotels problem, just giving others a heads up. The room was stark and outdated which made it feel shabby and not so clean. The carpeting was gross and there were stains and marks all over the walls in in the bathroom and mildew in the bathroom over the shower. The ac did not work, luckily the windows opened for some air flow. There was an old tube tv which we got a kick out of. I'm not a fussy person, but I was really disappointed in the room.

Great spot at the base of Magic Mountain Vince really helped us out with a late check in. Would definitely visit again.
Jennifer, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful location and grounds, great price, very roomy suites, very pet friendly with low pet fees. Vince and staff's hospitality are a huge plus! Cons: No minifridge or microwave in rooms, no air conditioning in the fall (room was warm on arrival in late September and no air conditioning or fan was available in room). Opening windows helped eventually, but then I had to listen to a construction worker talking loudly at his car directly outside my window for over an hour in the late afternoon. Only option for peace and quiet was to close the windows and endure the heat. Food options are also limited here, with no breakfast available onsite, although some snack bars and coffee were provided, which were appreciated! Dinner at the Red Slate was good, but breakfast and lunch options in the Londonderry area are limited. One minor pet peeve: I realize this is a rural area, possibly with scavenging bears/raccoons nearby, but some sort of disposal container for pet waste would be appreciated. I spend an unnecessary amount of time trying to find someplace to dispose of my dog waste bag at night. The next day I was finally able to learn out how to open the dumpster in the back to dispose of my dogs' waste. Not only that, even inside the lodge there is nowhere I found to dispose of room garbage, unless I missed it.

Good place for family ski trip with a dog

This is a dog friendly place so a good place for family trip with a dog. Easy to access from parking to a room using a door facing to parking so we can load and unload staffs. Having a nice restaurant for dinner but need to make a reservation in advance. Foods are good and not overpriced.

8/10 Very good

Perfect for a one night stay. Was visiting friends in the area and this was reasonable and convenient. Easy check in, friendly staff.
William, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Hospitality, common area, and restaurant were excellent. Strongly recommend restaurant reservations. Even if service is slow, it's worth the wait! The building and furniture is older and you hear everything from everyone (squeaky foors, loud heating, doors closing). For us (family of 5) just passing through, it was good and we'd go again!
Sarah, 1-night trip

Another great stay

Another great stay! Staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is excellent and drinks are perfect! Looking forward to my next stay!!!
Karen, 2-night trip

Stay somewhere else and come to the restaurant

The hotel is very old and the rooms are not well maintained and very shabby. Hot water in the shower went on and off. The only good thing is the cozy restaurant/bar and shared space.
Danielle, 1-night trip

Great rate for large clean comfortable room.

Wonderful large room with a private deck facing a wooded area. Great summer time rate, 13 miles from Manchester.
Carol, 1-night trip

The man who checked us in was very kind and patient with us; we had a couple of special requests. And he was very helpful. The place was clean, quiet, basic. The price was great, maybe because it was a Sunday evening in the summer. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Great Stay

This is a comfortable hotel immediately below Magic Mountain with an easy drive to Stratton and about 30 minutes from Okemo. Good restaurant on site, also a bar and nice common area. Very Vermont. Rooms are no-frills but clean and comfortable. Have stayed here in the past and will again
Gordy, 2-night trip

OK overnight stay at Upper Pass Lodge,

My wife and I had a nice, overnight stay at the Upper Pass Lodge. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We chose this hotel because it offered a much lower price than the others I could find in the Londonderry / Chester area. The food at their restaurant was reasonably priced and tasty.
Peter, 1-night trip

Great spot in Londonderry. Not super fancy but serves its purpose. Vince is great. Restaurant on site is very good & nice little pool. Not much around and parking lot desperately needs to be paved but enjoyed our stay.
