Good location, bit pricey for what it is
I had a room on the basement floor which was actually fine and even had a window that opened out onto the courtyard. Room was a decent size (i was travelling alone) but a few things were a little off. Room wasn't immaculately clean, only instant coffee in the room and paper cups (!) and bedding was a bit worn. Great location though.

Excellent location. Easy walking distance to the mosque for prayers, shopping.museums and the tram was excellent Staff members were exceptionally helpful in particular Yousuf tegus and Tugeba Found all staff very helpfu We enjoyed sitting in the gardens of the blue mosque soaking the sun and wonderful atmosphere and huge variety of food restaurants . Lastly the visit to the Bazaar is a unique experience

I had high hopes from this place, considering its a 5 star rated property. The good, the location was great and around all the hustle and bustle of city, room was decent size however i had no A/C working for both of those nights i stayed in. I talked to front desk and was told an electrician is being sent however the AC still didn’t work. Needless to say, what expected to be a relaxing experience, specially after 24 hours of traveling, coupled with jet lag, turned out to be rather stressful and tiring.

The property it self is lovely. That staff are amazing and look after you well, even after checking out they still looked out for us until we finally got our taxi. The food is lovely, selection of different foods available for breakfast. The only let down is the the surrounding restaurants, hassle you as your walking past to eat at their place.

We stayed here for 5 nights.We had a basement room which was spacious however the hallway smelt of urine which wasn’t pleasant. But our room had an outdoor area, housekeeping was done constantly, bathtub was mouldy. Bed had pen squiggles on it but it was a comfortable bed not the best pillows. TV programmes need to be updated. We had another room in the basement which wasn’t very spacious. Had a baby cot in there. Very tight and hot no balcony but the staff upgraded our room free of charge. They decorated the room for us for a family members birthday. Staff were okay, friendly. We made an amazing friend with the spa manager Sezure he was such a pleasant man. Constantly helped us and always had a conversation and a laugh. We had the hamam and massage it was really relaxing however as a Muslim woman there were men in the area which wasn’t appropriate for us. But other than that it was decent. Room service was ok too. Would recommend for short stays as everything is walking distance. Front door men were very helpful.

This was my 3rd stay at sura and I do love that it’s so local to great attractions and easy access to team. The staff was very helpful and always ready to help with a smile. The area is safe and full of hustle bustle till late at night. At breakfast the staff namely Hassan abdullah and Ahmer really looked after us and were so accommodating. Fatima who is at front desk very helpful and lovely lady The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and cleaned daily on your stay. Only negative I feel is that in this particular room ( we had a triple) the bathroom has 2 interior walls ok so you can hear when someone is in the bathroom and no hooks for clothes in the bathroom( maybe as all glass)

The hotel is nice but the English spoken is very limited even at reception. The concierge however are great. The breakfast was not worth the money and not good at all. Coffee was terrible selection is very limited, no service. Room service was ok but very expensive for basic food. Housekeeping was not good they didn’t clean properly at all, left old food and room service from the night before in the room. Our room was in the 2nd floor no wheelchair access. Paper cups instead of normal crockery for coffee, no milk only powered. No iron in rooms, not nearly enough cupboards nor drawers we lived out of our suitcases.
