The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with nautical, modern, clean, and spacious rooms that provide all the comforts of home. The views of the marina were breathtaking—waking up to the serene water and boats was a highlight of my trip. Rooms are in need of a hard goods refresh. Bathroom corners showing signs of superficial cleanliness; baseboard molding with signs of water damage near the shower; gouged paint and wood on the dressers and cabinets. Public spaces well cared for. Pool delightful. Staff excellent. Would stay again at a lower price point. Better value for the money can be found elsewhere in the city.

I've traveled to Charleston a number of times and always chose to stay downtown. We will be staying here from now on for future trips! It's a beautiful location without the craziness of the downtown area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. In addition, having the Charleston Water Taxi nearby made travel to the city so much easier!
