I had to make a last minute booking for an event in he heart of Yamagata, which is a 6 hour drive from my base. I really just wanted the cheapest room I could find as I was only looking for a few hours sleep and then return. My own fault leaving it so late, The event was at the centre of town, and almost everything available was a long way away from it so I booked here, at way above my hoped for cost. That said, the room was great and I felt good value, because it was such a nice room. And the AC was perfect, which in 36 degrees ws important to me.
