Overall, the stay was average. The location is convenient, as it’s close to the station. However, the service was below expectations. I paid extra to book a trundle room (three beds), but was instead given a double room. I showed the front desk my booking confirmation, but they refused to provide the room type I had reserved. It seemed the hotel may have oversold their rooms and reassigned me to a lower category. No reimbursement or refund was offered for the difference.

The hotel is perfect for travelers. Even small, budget friendly rooms have double beds and nice bathrooms with full showers and tubs. Everything is very clean and in perfect working order. Good breakfast. The hotel is near a major dining and shopping street. Most importantly, the staff is very kind and friendly. They helped me get around to the famous sites. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our time at this hotel was a real treat. The room was just big enough to accommodate us and our luggage. The onset was a wonderful way to begin and end.Our dare.They amid the very cold weather of Nara during this season. I intend to visit the same time next year.And I also intend to reboot this hotel stay. It is very, very close to convenience stores, market bus stops, and of course the JR rail line.

Everything was great until we got to the room. It was so small even the bathroom seemed extremely small. The doorway and hallway was so close we had to turn sideways to get in and out to the beds. . We did use the Natural Springs for an extra charge. It was much easier to shower at the bathhouse than the room. Hotel is very quiet and clean with friendly staff.

This is a clean and modern hotel and is well located, being close to the JR station, a supermarket, plenty of eating options and the bus to Nara Park. It had everything that we needed and the staff were friendly. Our room was small and it was only possible to walk around one side of the bed but we knew that when we booked it. The onsen was well organized and very clean. One nice feature is that there is an indicator of how busy the two sides of the onsen are that you can see on your TV. You can even check the status of the laundry machines from the TV.

The hotel room was standard size for Japanese standards. The people and facilities were really pleasant. They were so kind and helpful to us. We were very comfortable there and the onsen really rejuveated us after a long day of walking through Nara in rain. Breakfast buffet has a selection of western and japanese cuisine. It was pretty middle standard fare and you opt to eat outside if you have something in mind but it is very convenient and covers a variety of foods people might eat. We also splurged on the dinner but had a lovely meal. The foods included local cuisine and food iconic to Japan. But if you on a budget, resturants are all 10-15 min walk away. Convenience stores like Lawson and local marts are also 5-10 min away. You can easily make a meal out of the food you find there yourself. I am very grateful to the staff for making this little place comfortable for us. Would recommend if you staying in Nara for a short visit.

Amazing Property

I stayed here for 4 nights and had requested a quiet room. Upon check-in, the receptionist let me know that I was going to be more in one of their quietest rooms. I really appreciated that. I enjoyed my stay immensely. Staff is polite and efficient. Everything is spotless in the hotel. The hotel is close to a huge supermarket at the train station where you can stock up on goodies to stow in the refrigerator in the room. There are also microwave ovens for you use in the vending areas. Self-service laundry washing machines are something I didn't need but I might on my next trip. There was just one thing that can be improved. I used the onsen hot spring bath several times. It didn't seem to be as well maintained as others I have been to in Japan, especially on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Somebody's day off? That being said, I enjoyed my stay and hope to come back again next year.
