I had not stayed here before, but was able to secure a reservation for one night. The outside is a motel, but the room was more like a hotel. Beautiful and spacious and very clean. I was very happy overall and will likely book again sometime.

We had a great stay! The desk attendant was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was exceptionally clean and had a pleasing style to the decor. The climate control unit worked perfectly and was quiet. Parking was easy and I think we took twenty steps to our room. Great room at a great price!

We loved our stay for the price! Modern and clean with nice taste in decorating. Bonus was it was walkable distance to restaurants and less than two minutes from where our daughter lives. Would have liked to have felt a bit safer with a deadbolt lock on the door.

We had a wonderful stay until we got up in the morning to find someone had tried to break into our vehicle. We left and after I explained the situation to the hostess she was so accommodating in calling the police so we could file an insurance claim. She couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was well appointed and clean.

Top Notch Service

The host was absolutely amazing! She took the time to walk us to our room and make sure we were satisfied with the conditions. She provided us the option of choosing our room location. There was a “homey” feel to the room and was very comfortable. We would absolutely return to lodge at The Carriage House if we’re ever in the area again. My son left his football cleats in the room, and the host graciously offered to mail them to us. Great experience and wonderful customer service!!

Not a terrible place to stay but not really a place that makes sense. My room was clean and small, but cozy. Honestly, room was very basic but good for a one night stay. My check in was great and the communication with staff who sent me instructions was also great. My main issue was with the basic room at this refurbished motel. My toiletries were open, definitely not new, and my mattress was uncomfortable because of lumps. At around 2 am I was awoken by what sounded like garbage trucks for an hour. I realized in the morning that behind my room was a USPS facility that had trucks backing in and going out almost all night. The traffic passing by the front of the hotel was also loud all night and even worse was the mini refrigerator. Again, if I had to do it again, I’d stay at a traditional hotel.

Great stay!

From the outside, looks like a motel so I was a little dubious about the very positive reviews I read. But then - the room was beautiful - more like a high-end rental than a hotel room. Completely renovated, tastefully decorated, and spotless. Staff really nice, too. The only downside is the highway noise, but the location is convenient. Will be back!

Great place to stay within the area

Was perfect for me safe easy parking and didn’t have a motel feel it was more of a comfortable feeling. The area could be questionable, but I felt secure at the hotel.
