The Hua Hin Night Market is widely believed to have started the phenomenon of night markets in Thailand. Each night, the town center comes to life, attracting visitors with traditional Thai souvenirs and street food. One street, covering 2 blocks between Petchkasem Road and the railroad, is closed off to traffic so you can wander at ease.

Under canopies of lights, storekeepers line the street with their wares and draw in passers-by with the enticing aromas of steaming and sizzling street food. Expect to find restaurants with good seafood at low prices, plus items such as jewelry, Thai souvenirs, crafts, beachwear, and Buddhist relics.

Despite the name, the Grand Night Market is not much bigger than most night markets in Thailand. However, it might seem grander because some stalls are permanent structures rather than tents. Located a few blocks north of Market Village, the market is part of the Hua Hin Grand Hotel and Plaza. It's best to take a motorbike, tuk-tuk or a taxi cab because it can be challenging to find parking nearby.

Goods sold at the Grand Night Market include clothing, jewelry and souvenirs. There is a splendid range of food too, with bars and restaurants close together, making it easy to hop from one spot to the next.
