Great place to stay! The room was very clean and comfortable and having a balcony was a really nice touch. The property was taking special COVID-19 precautions and had sanitizer available throughout the property as well as sanitizing wipes in the room. I felt very safe here.

Ambiance 10/ Room 2
The hotel lobby is definitely a vibe and I am here for that! They were following safety guidelines also a plus. Easy check in. The pool at night is amazing. It’s heated which is also amazing. Lots of places to sit outside. The room from opening the door seemed great. Cute decor but when you look up close. The door to the balcony was broken. The mattress had to be 100 years old and I sank to the middle when I laid down. The bed skirts were dirty and on half hazard. Sheets and pillow cases were either clean with stains or just dirty. Shower was dirty and you could see some ones previous shampoo all over the wall. The attached restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend doing brunch there! So good! The place over all had great outdoor decor and places to sit outside but the room left a lot to be desired.

It was a nice hotel for the weekend, nothing special. The walk from the lobby to the actual building of the rooms was a little far and a walk but the lobby was very nice and cozy, the pool area really clean and nice(did not go in at my stay it was chilly and also Covid) but the rooms were basic, bathroom a little small but it was a nice, clean room. Location is perfect but the amount for parking is just highway robbery, that’s definitely the worst thing about this property. They’re not a name brand hotel and the parking amount was just ridiculous just for one night $37 insane

Really good value for a higher-end experience
I was very pleased with my 3 night stay here. Staff is friendly and the facility is impressively on top of covid cleaning standards. The deluxe king room in the Eldorado building was nicely decorated in a 70s motif and had the standard conveniences and was comfortable enough (not amazing, but restful). The outdoor ground level parking and easy in and out access was convenient. What really struck me was how lovely the grounds and common areas are. Beautiful mature landscaping, pretty poolside lounging complete with walk-up bar for drinks and food and impeccably clean updated bathrooms, courtyard with tables and lounge areas with nice accent lighting and outdoor heaters. The inside sitting lounges were attractive and comfortable as well. The attached restaurant The Front Yard has a gorgeous garden patio and a nice menu. This is a great spot for business and pleasure, even during covid times. Most guests were good about wearing masks in shared areas and there was enough room to spread out.

Nice hotel, wish it wasn't right next to freeway
The hotel itself is really nice, the pool was great, the lobby and sitting areas nice, and a big comfy family suite. But we were right next to the freeway and could hear the noise from it all night long. Maybe it was just because of where our room was located but it was definitely loud.

Groovy and Great...The Garland
I was very surprised how much I really liked this Hotel. I first heard about it around a year ago when I went to have food at The Front Yard. So a year later, I needed a hotel in the Valley. And I remembered how cool The Garland was. I also liked the self park option, and it was a nice break from using Valet, which every hotel in LA seems to have. I needed access to my car, and The Garland makes it easy. I felt very very safe, and the decor is awesome. 60s 70s funk, but comfortable. I really like it here.
